Follow-Through provides our college student-athletes with the support and guidance necessary to meet their individual educational/career goals and to graduate and be prepared to be positive citizens to their communities. Services include time management, social media Etiquette and Communication, goal setting and decision making strategies, techniques and resources.
Time Management
The purpose of this service is to gain a better understanding Need help balancing class, athletics, and health? Would you like to set up a better way to maximize your time and fulfill your commitments? This workshop is for you. Specially designed with the Student-Athletes in mind, this service will provide tips and tricks to help balance school, athletics, and personal life.
You will need these skills as a collegiate athlete whether you compete at a college or university in NCAA Division III or at Division I or II programs that offer athletic scholarships. Student-athletes are expected to maintain their standing as a full-time college student, taking at least 12 credit hours per semester.
Developing time management skills during your freshman year will be an important key to your success as you transition from high school.
Healthy Living & Habits
The purpose of this service is to gain a better understanding of the particular mental health challenges faced by student-athletes while also learning about the resources available to all of our students in Fulton County School.
Social Media Etiquette & Decision Making
This service is designed to assist you in setting clear boundaries and guidelines for your students’ responsible social media usage. It will help you in turning social media into a positive experience for both you and your students by framing social media as a tool that you can use to promote your program and your personal brand. Taking this course will help you stop fighting social media, and instead use it to positively impact your students and your organization.
